I received my Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and my Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Concentration in Law and Public Policy from the University of Louisville, where I was on the Dean’s Honor List and a Duncan T. Boisseau Scholarship Recipient. In law school while achieving top ten in my class, I earned membership on the Patent Law Moot Court and a clerkship for current Kentucky Court of Appeals Judge Irvin G. Maze. I learned the ropes and earned my stripes in several prestigious internships. I summered with past President of the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Attorney Larry D. Simon. I also interned with famed personal injury attorney, Donald H. Smith. I finished my third summer by earning a rare position through OCI at the prestigious law firm of McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie and Kirkland, where I was ultimately hired as an associate attorney and began my legal career.

I am admitted to the state bars by way of examination of both Indiana and Kentucky. I am also admitted to practice in federal court before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the Southern Federal District of Indiana. I also practice before various administrative boards including FINRA and state professional licensing boards, including before the Kentucky Board of Nursing and serving as interim General Counsel for the Disciplinary Committee of the Kentucky Board of Dentistry.

I am an active member of the Kentucky, Indiana, and Louisville Bar Associations.
